About yesterday...

Big shouts to everyone tuned in yesterday to Skeleton holding it down at The Beat Suite with the Glade warm-up show. Also massive respect to Roscoe from Dubstation for the guest mix! The listen again is available now to your right. The tracklist for both this show and the one from two weeks back will be completed! We apologise for this delay, which was mainly caused by the lack of internet at our new houses.

Special shouts going out to @estentity for spreading the word on Twitter yesterday!

Grooveshark

Check out Grooveshark.com for the next step in music streaming. They do similar stuff to Spotify. Here's a tune DJ Switch played us in his car - a remix of Sunshine of Your Love by Spanky Wilson. That's it from me for now. I have loads of free time on my hands down here in Poland, so I will surely keep you all updated with interesting things I dig up.

Peace

just found this photo amongst others.. good times!

Automaton & DJ Switch

Massive propz to the two selectors most high, amazing turntablism from Switch and sick new productions and skratching from Automaton.. We thank you!

(getting the tracklisting sorted this week may cause some problems due top the amount of tunes dropped in such a short space of time! however we will try!)

Rhubarb studios as they are on wednesday nights.. Boogie Dave and Roscoe holding it down on DUBSTATION before THE BEAT SUITE...

World DMC champion DJ Switch on The Beat Suite this week!

Straight from Moseley, Birmingham, The Beat Suite is proud to bring you some fresh information! This Wednesday night / Thursday morning (8th/9th July) we will be having two very special guests in the studio.
One is the current DMC World Champion, whom you might have seen playing at nights such as The Big Dirty, Scratch Club or Secret Wars - the one and only DJ Switch, turntablist extraordinaire.
Alongside him, you'll be able to hear Automaton, also repping Scratch Club Birmingham.

It's gonna be a wicked night, with live guest sets and interviews, so make sure you're locked on! Props from The Beat Suite

Straight from the streets of Brum!

Hello Beat Suiters!

Yesterday's show was a wicked one! Those of you who were tuned in, or have already listened back, know that The Beat Suite HQ has been temporarily relocated from Umberslade Road, Selly Oak to Unit 1418 ;]. Still we managed to pull off a well enjoyable show despite having to dig through piles of our shizzle in search for headphones etc.

As soon as we're settled down, we will provide you with a tracklist, and the 'Listen Again' link to the show is now available just to the right hand side of this blog.

Keep in touch people - looking forward to the next show! If you listen again, contanct us on the blog, twitter (@thebeatsuite), or The Beat Suite Facebook group and we'll shout you out on the next show.

Peace!
